DEPOSIT & BOND
A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to secure the booking. In addition to the deposit, a $500.00 bond is also payable. Payment of the rental deposit/bond constitutes the client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Bond will be returned within 24 hours of departure, all being well.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let the property.
CANCELLATION
If cancellation is caused by the client, the 10% deposit paid is non-refundable. Any bond money paid will be refunded in full.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
STANDARDS AND CONDITIONS
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property, but the occasional abuse requires that we ask for a bond for security purposes and state the following conditions.
The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owner in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay. It is NOT our intention to charge for the replacement of an accidental broken glass. Charges will be imposed if the facilities are left in an unreasonable condition – e.g., Soiled or stained bedding, rugs, upholstery, etc. Charges will also be incurred for loss or damage to remote controls or misplaced keys. Any damage or breakages to the Cottage, its fittings and facilities will be charged to the guest at replacement/repair cost plus 10%
Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of rental and loss of bond.
CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES
It would be appreciated if you are required to charge an EV from the power supply at Enda Cottage that you notify the owner and leave a payment of $20 to cover the cost of charging.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
Arrival – check in time is 2.00pm. An earlier check in can often be arranged with prior notice.
Departure – the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival, (except for normal cleaning). Check-out time is 12.00pm by the latest, to allow time to prepare the property for our next guests. If you require an earlier arrival, or a later departure, please contact the owner to see if this can be arranged.
SMOKING/VAPING
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited indoors. There is an ash tray in the BBQ are, but please ensure that doors are closed when smoking outside so that smoke does not waft indoors. Please make sure that all cigarette litter is disposed of correctly.
CANDLES
There are candles provide in the cottage for your use. (Please do not use your own). When burning candles please be mindful, and do not leave them burning when you leave the property.
LIABILITIES
No responsibility is taken for personnel items left on the premises during or after departure. Any items left behind will be returned at the tenant’s expense.
We do not accept liability for any injury, damage or loss and additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control.
We do not accept liability for errors or omissions represented on our website.
PETS
Sorry, pets are not allowed.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
